About Xiamen University America Alumni Association

Founded on December 10, 1984, Xiamen University America Alumni Association, Inc(XMUAAA) is a non-profit charitable, educational organization.
XMUAAA, Inc has qualified as an exempt organization under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code since March 10, 1988. 

The purposes of the Association are to foster better understanding and engender friendly relations among the alumni of Xiamen University, to promote educational exchange programs between Xiamen University and the communities of America, and to exist as a non-profit organization, operated solely and exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. 

Any person who graduated from, or studied at, or taught or worked for, Xiamen University and its high school and maintains an address in America is eligible to be a member of the Association. 

Currently, XMUAAA has about 710 members in the US and Canada.
